St Albans Cathedral

Year 4 encounter the Romans

On Tuesday 19th January, the Year 4 children had a wonderful day at St Albans Cathedral which formed an integral part of their class work on the Romans and gave them an invaluable opportunity to encounter, at first hand, some fascinating artefacts that they were very excited to handle. They also had the chance to prepare some food following authentic Roman recipes and to take part in drama related to the story of St Alban.  We would like to thank all the staff who helped on this trip and also to the children for their extremely good behavior throughout the day.
