Year 3, Bringing Science to Life

We are very thankful for the amazing visit from a radiologist, armed with x-rays and a skeleton to examine.

As Year 3 are currently looking at the functions of our skeleton in science, Mrs Barkell, a radiologist from a local hospital, visited us to discuss elements of her job.

She discussed the key functions of the skeleton and the names of lots of our bones. She shared many interesting facts as well as bringing in real life x-rays for the children to look at.

We are very thankful for Mrs Barkell's visit, it was amazing to bring science to life!
