PTA Events

Thank you to all those parents who kindly donated Easter cakes at the end of last term. The children were delighted and very much enjoyed their Easter treat! Our next after-school cake stall will take place on 28 May at the disco. We would be grateful for any donations of cakes from parents including cakes for specific dietary requirements or food intolerances. Please bring cakes into the school reception before 9.30am on the day.

Tuesday 8th June, PTA Meeting

The PTA will be meeting in The Hollows building at the school on Tuesday 8th June at 7.30pm. All parents are welcome.

Monday 14 June, New parents' evening

The PTA will be available to discuss PTA activities and invite new parents to actively participate in the PTA to support the school.

The annual Firs Fun Run will take place on Friday 18 June. This is one of our biggest fundraising events and we urgently need volunteers and helpers to ensure this year's event is a success. We've allocated co-ordinators for each year group and as an incentive, there will be a reward for the class which raises the most money! So help your child's class to win the prize and sign up today! Look out for the dedicated year group flyers (coming home with the newsletter), with contact details for the year group co-ordinators. Any time you can spare to help support this event really is greatly appreciated by the school, the PTA and the children.

Sunday 27 June, Ampthill festival parade

To help the Ampthill Festival celebrate its 30th year in 2010, we are in the process of developing our 'Happy Birthday' theme for this year's event. We hope as many children as possible will get in involved and especially those from Years 3 and 4 who will make great candles for our enormous birthday cake! Look out for letters coming home from school soon with more information.

The ball will include catering. Tickets will be on sale soon after the Easter holidays.
