World Book Day 2021

The Firs children didn’t let Covid get in the way of marking such a fun day!

Despite the strange circumstances, The Firs has celebrated World Book Day with a range of activities for children in school and at home. Every year group and area of the school has been having fun this week and on World Book day itself.

In Saplings, children loved the chance to dress up as their favourite character from a book:

The children have been busy making biscuits for their World Book Day Teddy Bear Picnic:

They were then very excited when it was time for the picnic itself!

In Year 1 the children also enjoyed getting dressed up for the day!

Enjoying the day together as a Year group, from school and at home.

There was lots of staff and children in pyjamas in Year 2 and a mask made of Gingerbread!

Year 3 got stuck into the day whether at home or in school.

In Year 4 they didn’t let Covid get in the way of marking the day either!

Marking the day together in style, at school and at home.

And there was fun in Pine as always!
