Year 4 Explore Jewish Traditions with Milton Keynes Reform Synagogue
Interactive Workshop Enhances Learning About Jewish Family Life and Festivals
On 15th October, Year 4 students had the wonderful opportunity to participate in an interactive workshop led by Lou Tribas from the Milton Keynes Reform Synagogue. This visit was part of their Religious Education curriculum focused on Jewish Family Life.
During the sessions, Lou introduced the children to a range of artefacts, providing hands-on learning about significant Jewish festivals such as Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah. The workshop also offered insight into important aspects of worship within a synagogue.
The pupils demonstrated great curiosity and asked thoughtful questions throughout the visit, showing a genuine interest in deepening their understanding. The school is proud of the students’ enthusiasm and respectful engagement during this enriching experience.
