World Book Day Celebrations at The Firs Lower School
Bringing Favourite Stories to Life Through Imagination and Creativity
The Firs Lower School was filled with colour, creativity and a love of reading as we celebrated World Book Day once again. Pupils and staff arrived dressed as a wide range of well-known literary characters, transforming our classrooms and corridors into a wonderful world of stories.
The effort and imagination shown in the costumes were truly impressive, and it was fantastic to see so many favourite books brought to life. Throughout the day, children enjoyed sharing stories, discussing their chosen characters and celebrating the joy that reading brings.
We are incredibly proud of all our pupils for their enthusiasm and participation. A heartfelt thank you also goes to our parents and carers for their continued support in helping the children prepare such fantastic outfits and making the day so special for everyone involved.
