Yr4 St Albans Cathedral Trip January 2017
Last Friday, the Year 4 children had a wonderful day at St Albans Cathedral which formed an integral part of their class work on the Romans and gave them an invaluable opportunity to encounter, at first hand, some fascinating artefacts that they were very excited to handle. They also had the chance to prepare some food following authentic Roman recipes and to take part in drama related to the story of St Alban. We would like to thank all the parents and staff who helped on this trip and also to the children for their exemplary behaviour throughout the day. They were complimented by Cathedral staff on a number of occasions, with one member of staff for example, saying they were a 'credit to the school'... Well done Y4!
