Year 2 Seaside WOW Day!
The day ended with a Punch and Judy show and a seaside story—a fun, memorable finish to a fantastic day.
The children had a wonderful time on Wednesday, stepping back to the Victorian era, when seaside holidays first became popular.
They made shell boxes, decorated mugs, boats, and postcards—just like Victorian children!
They also took on different roles: serving at The Pier Café, dressing up for photos at The Photographer’s Shop, and making hook-a-duck toys. In the afternoon, the hall became a bustling pier.
After ‘boarding the seaside train,’ the children became stallholders and shoppers, using old pennies to buy and sell at: The Souvenir Shop, The Fish and Chip Shop, The Post Office, and even sandcastle building on a private beach!

A special thank you to our parent and grandparent helpers for making the day a huge success!
