Chicks in Pine

The children in Pine have been very excited this week at the arrival of the chick eggs! We are pleased to say that all ten eggs hatched successfully into fluffy chicks and the children are thoroughly enjoying watching them. Next week, the children will have the opportunity to handle the chicks as well. If anybody would like to home a chick (or chicks), please let a member of Pine staff know before Friday 17th May as that is when the remaining chicks will be collected and taken back to the farm. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the PTA for funding this valuable experience. The children have gained so much learning from it.
