The Firs at Ampthill Christmas Tree Festival
The Christmas Tree Festival took place this year on Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December. Thank you to all our parents and grandparents, who popped to St Andrews Church over the weekend to see our Firs Christmas tree which had been beautifully decorated by Mrs Brady from recycled cds and dvds that had been made to look very Christmassy by all the children. Thank you to Mrs Brady for working so hard in co-ordinating this and to all the children for their superb efforts with the decorations.
Firs Lower Choir, Singing at the Christmas Tree Festival
Our choir sang at St Andrews Church on Saturday 30th November as part of the Christmas Tree Festival, performing three Christmassy tunes under the conductorship of Mrs Freeman. They delivered a very professional music set, to some very appreciative applause from their audience. Thank you to all the parents who accompanied their children and to Mrs Freeman and Miss Hill for working so hard with the choir over the Autumn term.
