Harvest Festival at The Firs

The Need Project were very grateful for the vast number of donations the children brought in today, together they created a stunning Harvest Festival display.

We were very excited to welcome back our special guest at this year’s Harvest Festival, Dominic Holroyd-Thomas, the Reverend from St Andrews Church, who kindly delivered an interesting and engaging assembly around the theme of storytelling and reading.

We were also joined by a number of children from our Saplings Pre-school, along with our Reception Class children, who sat sensibly listening and watching, clearly enjoying the experience of sitting with the whole school in our hall having Narnia and other stories read to them.

Thank you to everyone who sent in food items for our Harvest Assembly.  The Need Project were very grateful for the vast number of donations, and commented on how much our support will be appreciated over the winter period.
