The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is additional funding given to schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

Each year, schools are required to set out how they are going to spend this money to support the achievement of entitled pupils.

You will also see below the plan for the current year. The evaluation of this plan will be completed at the end of the academic year.

From September 26, the provision of ‘Free School Meals’ (FSM) includes all households receiving 'Universal Credit', but the Pupil Premium funding eligibility will only apply to the "Targeted FSM" cohort, which will be households earning under £7,400 per year. 

(If a pupil currently receives pupil premium, schools will retain this funding for a protection period of 6 years however, even if the family's financial situation improves.)
